The Land of Light
by Jacob
Once upon a time, there was a mysterious land called the Land of Light. The land was known for its everlasting brightness, and people whispered that it was a place of magic. However, the people who entered the land never returned, and those who lived nearby never spoke of what they saw. The land was surrounded by a dense fog, and it was said that those who tried to penetrate it never came back.
One day, a curious traveler decided to enter the Land of Light. Despite the warnings, he was determined to uncover the secrets of the mysterious land. As he stepped into the land, he was met with an eerie stillness. The light was brighter than anything he had ever seen, and he felt a chill run down his spine. The people he encountered were smiling, but their eyes were empty, and their skin was pale and translucent.
The traveler soon realized that he was trapped in the Land of Light and that he would never be able to leave. The light was all-consuming, and it was slowly draining his life force. He tried to escape, but the dense fog surrounding the land seemed to push him back. The traveler was trapped in the Land of Light, forced to bask in its false light for all eternity. The Land of Light was not a place of magic, but a place of darkness, where the light was a disguise for something far more sinister.
Where There is Only Light
In a world of brightness, I wander alone,
A sea of sunshine, but I feel unknown.
The light is so brilliant, it hurts my eyes,
But still, I wander, under clear blue skies.
The shadows are gone, there's no place to hide,
No escape from the light, it's all I see outside.
In this world of happiness, I can't belong,
I long for the darkness, where I can be strong.
I've lost my way, I'm lost in the light,
No refuge to find, no end in sight.
I'm just a ghost, in this world of glee,
Where there is only light, and no peace for me.
